United We Ride (UWR)/Mobility Services for All Americans (MSAA) - General Information

The purpose of the UWR/MSAA online community is to share information with our members, our partners, and the general public on methods to increase mobility and accessibility for transportation disadvantaged individuals and to achieve more efficient use of federal transportation funding resources. We encourage APTA members and especially those who are members of the APTA Access Committee, the Transportation Coordination Legislative Subcommittee, the Information Technology Committee, and the National Consortium on the Coordination of Human Services Transportation to use the UWR/MSAA – General Information online community site as a means to pose challenging questions, to share lessons learned, best practices, helpful resources, and to engage in meaningful dialogue for the benefit of APTA members and the transit industry.

This particular community is set up for members to address key issues of common interest on mobility services.

  • Take advantage of the online community features by engaging in real-time chat sessions with those from the UWR/MSAA – General Information community who may already be online.
  • Participate in online “discussions” with your fellow colleagues.
  • Feature documents that may be of common interest.
  • Use the “discussions” pages and “documents” pages featured in the UWR/MSAA – General Information community to post questions and answers to various topics featured on the online community bulletin boards, shared community files, and shared web site/link areas.
  • Post links to resources you have found to be helpful.
  • Participate in occasional scheduled online meetings.

These sites are reviewed and maintained by APTA staff responsible for the support and maintenance of the APTA Online Communities and Learning Center.  Questions and replies will stay posted for about two months from the date of posting.  If you have questions or special requests, please contact APTA’s Joe Niegoski at jniegoski@apta.com.
