The purpose of the UWR/MSAA Project Sites online community is to share information with your fellow Project Sites, and Management Group and Stakeholder Steering Group members on methods to increase mobility and accessibility for transportation disadvantaged individuals and to achieve more efficient use of federal transportation funding resources.
Use the UWR/MSAA – Project Sites online community site as a means to draft challenging questions, lessons learned, best practices, helpful resources, to later share in the UWR/MSAA General Information community with APTA members.
The Project Sites community is set up for members to address key issues of common interest on mobility services.
- Take advantage of the online community features by engaging in real-time chat sessions with those from the UWR/MSAA Project Sites, Management Group and Stakeholder Steering Group communities who may already be online.
- Participate in online “discussions” with your fellow Project Sites, Management Group and Stakeholder Steering Group colleagues.
- Feature documents that may be of common interest.
- Use the “discussions” pages and “documents” pages featured in the UWR/MSAA – Project Sites community to post questions and answers to your fellow Project Sites,Management Group and Stakeholder Steering Group colleagues on various topics featured on the online community bulletin boards, shared community files, and shared web site/link areas.
- Post links to resources you have found to be helpful.
- Participate in occasional scheduled online meetings.
These sites are reviewed and maintained by APTA staff responsible for the support and maintenance of the APTA Online Communities and Learning Center. Over time, APTA plans to use this site to register for some of APTA’s instructor-led workshops as well as future online sessions. You as members will be able to track your own progress as you advance through new curricula. You will have personal records of workshops you take and online courses you complete.
